Mathieu Perrault, on the first of July 2014, signed a contract with the Winnipeg Jets. It was for three years and 9 million dollars. This dynamic centre from Drummondville, Québec had his NHL debut with the Capitals in November 2009. He has since then played with the Washington Capitals and the Anaheim Ducks. In Perrault’s 228 NHL regular season games and his 22 NHL playoff games he has accumulated in total 122 points. The Winnipeg Jets are hoping he will be a good addition to the team. Mathieu Perrault will most probably be playing as a second or third line centre. We also speculate that he was a replacement for Olli Jokinen who was traded to Nashville earlier this year.
